Investing in Budapest

  • Member of the European Union since 2004

  • Euro Zone: incorporation expected for 2012

  • Logistically strategic country

  • Thermal sanctuary of Europe

With more than 400 spas distributed in more than 100 towns, 2000 year-old monuments of the Roman period, beautiful Romanesque churches, old castles, and Balatón lake, the biggest one in Central Europe , Hungary is an authentic paradise for millions of tourists. But overall, the most impressive thing of the country is its fabulous capital city, Budapest.

Member of the European Union since 2004, Hungary is strategically located in the middle of Europe, neighbouring Ukraine, Romania, Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia and Austria. The country's surface is a huge fertile plain that covers more than four fifths of the land, with green hills and beautiful mountains.

The beautiful Hungarian capital city, more cosmopolitan than Prague, more romantic than Warsaw and more beautiful than both of them, Budapest is located upon both sides of Danube river, with the hills of Buda to the West and the beginning of the Big Plain to the East. With parks full of attractions, museums plenty of treasures, recreational ships moving along the Danube holding, the steam that comes from the thermal baths built by the Turkish and a night life that lasts until the daybreak, the Hungarian capital city is one of the most beautiful.

The city is a true jewel, with multiple Barroque offices remarkable for their elegance and richness, and majestic palaces in eastern Europe built following the geometric ultracorrection of the Neoclassic style. The charm and grandeur of Budapest comes to the visitor's sight when they walk by the extravagant old town. The Art Nouveau architecture and its Wienese versiony, the Secession, frequently appear in the Hungarian capital city and these examples are visible through the whole city.
